It is with heavy hearts we announce that Slaven Krljic has passed away suddenly and unexpectedly while vacationing in Honduras on Friday January 9, 2015 at the age of 51. Survived by his loving wife Katarina of 29 years; two daughters Gorana and Jana of Kelowna; brother Bojan (Sanja) of the Netherlands; nephews Rino and Nik; aunt Boba, cousins Bruneta, Evica, Kasandra and Goran of Croatia and Sweden, with their families; two brothers-in-law Ivica (Christine) Ilic of Germany and their children Till and Nele, Tomislav (Danijela) Ilic of the Netherlands and their sons Tiny and Fillip; sister-in-law Janja (Djino) Delic of Croatia; as well as countless friends here in Kelowna, back home in Croatia and Bosnia, and also throughout the world. We would like to extend a special thank you to all the friends that were in Honduras for their help during this difficult time. Slaven was a devoted dad and husband, passionate about travelling and exploring the world with his family, friends, and furry companion Bruno. Slaven was the proud founder of Digital Generation and was very dedicated to his businesses and his associates. His loving smile, lively attitude, and carefree spirit will forever be missed by his family and friends. A Prayer Service will be held on Sunday, January 18th at 7:00 pm and a Funeral Service will be held on Monday, January 19th at 1:00 pm, both at Springfield Funeral Home, 2020 Springfield Road, Kelowna, BC. Interment to follow in the Kelowna Memorial Park Cemetery. Should family and friends so desire, memorial donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
