February 17, 1957 - March 21, 2020
Stuart was born in North Battleford, Saskatchewan and was raised on the family farm in Rutland, BC.
He showed an early interest in music and became a fantastic guitar player. He also built many balsa wood flying airplane models with incredible craftsmanship.
He was predeceased by his mother and father, Louise and Art Day. He is survived by his sister Elinor, brother RIchard, nieces Hannah, Tamsen and Catherine, nephews Jon, James and Alex and grand nieces Amina, Lucia and Kaiya and many other members of the Day clan. He will be greatly missed by his dear friend Cheryl.
Stuart will be cherished for the love that he gave people through his music, with over 30 original songs and for his persistence in his struggle with mental illness. Stuart was happy, loved by many and will be sorely missed. The family would like to thank Shannon Day, her family and the doctors and nurses at KGH for their help.
