Susan (Sue) Bowler, 53, of Lake Country, BC, passed away January 8th, 2019, at KGH with her family by her side. She was born Svetlana Tarasenko to parents Vladimir and Zoya Tarasenko, in Newcastle, Australia, immigrating to Canada in 1970. She grew up and attended public schools in the Coldstream and Vernon areas. After graduating high school, Sue moved to Vancouver where she attended Langara Business College in pursuit of the entrepreneurial goals she kept throughout her life. In 1998 she married Earl Bowler, and they remained in Vancouver until returning to the Okanagan in 2005 with their two children.
Sue is survived by her husband Earl and children, Chloe and Aidan Bowler, her brother and two sisters and their families.
A celebration of Sue's life will be held later in the spring.
