Terry passed away on Friday, March 23, 2018 at the age of 67. Survived by his loving wife Rae of 46 years, daughter Cindy (Sean) Bigler of Calgary; son Steven (Brandy) of Kelowna; grandchildren; Jessie, Kali, Nikayla and Caylin; and sister Elaine (Ernie) Wurm of Regina.

Predeceased by infant brother Edward, his parents Elmer and Theresa. We are grateful to everyone at Mountainview for the excellent care we received.

Terry was born in Yorkton, Saskatchewan. Growing up he loved to hunt and fish and to work with his Dad in the family body shop in Willowbrook, Saskatchewan. Terry paid a visit to the Vernon Army Cadet Camp at the age of 15 and fell in love with the Okanagan; he knew he would one day be back. A few years later, Terry was working in a grocery store in Yorkton. After a transfer to Moose Jaw, he met Rae. They married a year later and moved out to BC where they settled down to raise their family.

Terry worked at various jobs and eventually was employed by Vanguard Trailers for a few years, then Western Star Trucks and finally Kelowna Flightcraft. He was supervisor of the paint departments at these facilities. He worked at Kelowna Flightcraft until the fall of 2007. A year later, he was diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease. Over the years he loved to fix up classic cars. His prize possession was his 1969 Ford Galaxie 500 Convertible which he enjoyed showing off at numerous car shows.

Should the family and friends so desire, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society.

A Memorial Celebration will be held on Saturday, May 26th at 1:00 pm at Springfield Funeral Home, 2020 Springfield Road, Kelowna, BC.
