passed away May 2, 2008 with her loving husband Douglas by her side. Terrie had just turned 57 on April 14th. Terrie & Doug would have been celebrating their 40th wedding anniversary but God had other plans for her weary body. Terrie has left behind their only child; Tara Pearle (and Steve) along with 4 grandchildren (grandbabies she called them) that will miss their Nanny more than words can describe; Zak, Stone, Reed & Ocean will pray to her daily. Terrie spent her last few days with the fantastic staff at the Douglas Fir Palliative care unit; we would like to say a special Thank You to Sky & Pearl these were Angles sent to help with Terries passage to Heaven. All the staff was great but these 2 ladies were so helpful to Doug & Tara in that difficult time. Terrie left us so young that she left behind many including all her brothers & sisters; John McGale (Linda), Laurie MacKay (John) & Brent McGale (Debbie). Many nieces and nephews; Dax, Kaid, Johnny, Matt, Jewels, Mac, Patrick, Meleah and Crystal. Terrie also left behind her mother; Mary Anne but will now be beside her father John James Patrick McGale watching over us all. One wonders why when someone leaves us before we think they should; then I read this quote: Death is not extinguishing the light from the Christian; it is putting out the lamp because the dawn has come - Anonymous I believe that in my heart and soul and this will help our family carry on ~ I hope this will help you as well. Terrie was loved by all that met her. With laughter that was contagious, a smile that would brighten any room and a heart so big it was easy to overlook her lack of singing abilities. There was never a time that Terrie would say no. If you needed anything Terrie was there always. There is so much to be said about Terrie and there is not enough space in any paper to put it. We will be getting together to remember Terrie as she would like to be remembered, with laughter, music & a good joke or two. All will be welcome at Tara and Steve's house Sunday June 1st at 2pm. (reason it is so far off, we wanted all our family to be able to be there). Should family and friends so desire, memorial donations may be made to Douglas Fir Palliative Care Unit at Cottonwoods, this is something that will make Terrie happy.
