passed away on November 6, 2008. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband, Dan; daughter, Sarah Klassen (Wayne) of Kelowna; son Richard Bayliss (Susan) of Summerland; four grandchildren: Daniel, Carolyn, Madeline and Sascha; step-daughter, Jacqui Connolly and step-son, Christie Connolly both of England. Val may have been only 411, but she stood ten feet tall.
