GRANT, VALERIE JEAN March 4, 1951 – March 1, 2015 It is with great sadness we announce Valerie Jean Grant (Peterson) passed away peacefully on Sunday March 1, 2015 following a thankfully short battle with Cancer. Valerie was predeceased by her parents John and Jean Peterson and her sister Dianne. She is survived by her son Kevin, daughter Lindsay, granddaughter Kendall, brother Glen (Joanne) a very special nephew Brent, niece Kimberly, her children Alexis, Caiden and Addisyn of Kelowna. Extended family in Prince George will also miss Valerie very much. Many friends were touched by her life as well as her involvement with many societies such as Parkinson’s and Arthritis which she battled with for much of her life. She will also be missed by cousin Sherry (Kelowna) who was her Guardian Angel for the last few years. Thank you to Dr. Green, Dr. Claremont, Kelowna General Hospital Staff and Hospice house.
