WILLETT, VERGIL R. "VERG"
Vergil R. Willett “Verg” was born on June 11, 1920 and passed away peacefully on October 25, 2015 at Kelowna General Hospital at the age of 95 years. He is survived
by his loving family, wife Betty, sons: Gordon and Ray (Gayle) and daughter Vivian (Art), nine grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Vergil was a long time resident of Winfield making it his home for the past 70 years. He was a founding member of the Oceola Fish & Game Club and also received the Life Time Member Award. He was a World War II Veteran, an avid fisherman and hunter. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, October 31, 2015 at 1:00 pm. at the Oceola Fish and Game Club, 11888 McGowan Road, Winfield, BC. In lieu of flowers donations to the Heart Fund or to the Legion in his memory would be appreciated.
