SCHIESSER, WERNER ERNST MAY 6 1933 – MARCH 20, 2015
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Werner Schiesser who left us in the early hours of March 20, 2015. With him was Elisabeth, his loving wife of 57 years, daughter and son in law, Heidi and Jamie. He is survived by a son Robert (Bob), his wife, Tracy and 3 beautiful granddaughters, Alexandra, Samantha, and Danika of Calgary. He is also survived by a brother ,Horst (Anneliese), a sister, Elga, and several nieces and nephews. Werner immigrated to Winnipeg in 1953, married Elisabeth in 1958 and with their family moved to Kelowna in 1972. Werner spent many wonderful years, hunting, fishing and working in his orchard and gardens. Our family would like to thank the staff and friends at Brandt’s Creek Mews for the wonderful care and support he received and where he will be remembered as the “Puzzle Man”. A Service will be held Saturday, March 28th , at 11am at First Memorial Funeral Services, 1211 Sutherland Ave . In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada.
