MAHLER, WERNER
Went to be with the Lord on Thursday, March 6, 2014 at the age of 76. Survived by his loving wife of 48 years Magdalene; sons: Marcus (Michelle), and Peter; daughters: Andrea (Joe), and Michelle (Stuart); grandchildren: Tatum and Kohen; as well as many relatives in Germany and the US. Werner was a loving family man with a generous spirit, sense of humour and strong social conscience. He was active in many church groups including Knights of Columbus, Kolping, Parish Council, and various charities. He took great pride in the quality of his workmanship as carpenter. With retirement, Werner became a world traveller and flew, cruised and drove throughout various fascinating locales with wife Magdalene. A memorial mass will be held on Saturday, March 15, 2014 at 10:30 am at St. Charles Garnier Parish, 3645 Benvoulin Road, Kelowna with Father Pat Monette officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Knights of Columbus or a charity of your choice.
