Kane, William Daniel, born Nov. 16, 1960, passed away Sept. 9, 2009, after a brief illness. Dan, also known as Dane, Danny Boy, Dano, Amadablam, Falcon Icehole, and most happily, Daddy and Dearie, was a trusting and trusted man, a loving father, husband, brother, son, and friend.

Dan was predeceased by his mother, Denise (June 2008), and is survived by his loving wife Lenore, beautiful daughters Julia and Siobhan, father Brian, brothers Jamie and David Thomas, and a large extended family, all who loved him tremendously. Dan was a member of the CEP Union Local 525G for 30 years, and made many good friends at print shops in Vancouver, and in the classes he taught at the union school. He was passionate about computers, fly fishing, science fiction and Indy cars. Dan met and enjoyed a whole other world of friends in cyberspace, and in his work in computer repairs. His family was his pride and joy, and his youthful enthusiasm for

technology kept him connected to the young people in his life. Falcon Icehole has reached the ultimate level. "Kewl!"

A memorial service will be held Sat., Sept. 19, 2009,
