WURZER, DANIEL

EDWARD

born in Nobleford, Alberta in 1918. Passed away at Brookhaven Care Centre, Westbank May 11th 2009.

Raised on a farm at Keho Lake, Alberta, He served in Europe in the Army in WW11, returned in 1945; moved to Peachland in 1948.

Dan worked in forestry,

mining and partnered in a Marina in Peachland.

Predeceased by four sisters and four brothers. Survived by his loving wife of 32 years Jean, stepdaughter Donna Ferch (companion Fred Hough) many nieces and nephews especially Danny Wurzer, Dave (Rita) Wurzer and Juanita Lothian (Sis).

Dan was a staunch Legion member. Enjoyed dancing, fishing, cribbage and trips to the Casino.

Brookhaven staff, especially Spartan Unit for providing him with a comfortable and caring home for his last five years.

A Celebration of life will be held at 10:30am. June 18th in Brookhaven, followed by refreshments for family, friends and staff in the

Gala Room.
