It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Zaboj Horak on September 2, 2018, in Usti nad Labem, Czech Republic.
Zaboj is survived by his wife Nada of Usti nad Labem. Son Stuart (Jeanne) of North Vancouver. Son Oliver (Pavla) of Kelowna. Grandchildren: Sebastian, Sophie, Amelie, Stephanie, Aidan. Predeceased by brother Ivan Horak.
Zaboj was born in Prague, Czech Republic on February 10, 1940 and immigrated to Canada in 1968. He worked in Edmonton, AB and then for many years as a stonemason/bricklayer in Kelowna, BC.
Zaboj loved the outdoors and get together with family and friends. He will be missed greatly by all his family and his close friends.
Zaboj's remains will be cremated and a remembrance/celebration of life planned at the Pioneer Pavilion on Knox Mountain, October 7, 2018 at 11:00.
