The Grizzlies were joined by Mayor Gary Sulz, Evan Parliament, general manager, Ryan Parent, Coach Jiri Novak, and Captain Brady Schwab who spoke to the crowd.

Kevin Dorrius, longtime volunteer with the Grizzlies introduced the speakers, along with some statistics about the team:

•A record of 16 wins with only 3 losses
•Not one loss in regulation
•Several heart-stopping third period comebacks
•75 goals for which only 40 against for a +35 goal differential in 19 games
•Fantastic goal tending
•Incredible goals and big hits
After Dorrius read these statistics, he encouraged the crowd to sing the Grizzlies’ goal song, “Hey Baby” as they lined the band shell with the cup.
Following speeches from Mayor Sulz, Parliament, Parent, Coach Novak, and Captain Schwab, who earnestly expressed his gratitude to the community for their support, the Grizzlies mingled with the crowd and gave young fans autographs.
